Going for it all: Master Courses

What if you want to commit to going as far as you can go when you embark on your study of art? A Master Course is what you need!

In the Painting Master Creative Art Course, beyond all of the Lesson and Chapters in the Foundations Course, you will study, in detail, various aspects and techniques of painting. Topics include motifs (still life, portrait, landscape), creative expressions, and the technical points of anatomy and clothing in oil, watercolor, and acrylic. Your FAS Artist/Instructor will evaluate each of your 24 Painting Master Assignments (10 Assignments in the Foundations segment and 14 Assignments in the Painting segment).

In the Illustration & Design Master Creative Art Course, beyond all of the Lesson and Chapters in the Foundations Course, you’ll work on figure composition, learn how to create mood, practice line drawing, expand into working on landscapes and interiors. You will learn about animal drawing and get a solid grounding in the special techniques of fashion illustration. You’ll learn how artists can bring their skills to reportage and explore the principles of design and see how to apply them in a wide variety of contexts. Your FAS Artist/Instructor will evaluate each of your 19 Illustration & Design Master Assignments (10 Assignments in the Foundations segment and 9 Assignments in the Illustration & Design segment).
